Dog Obedience Training
Dog obedience training helps to establish and confirm to the dog or puppy that it is you that is “boss” and not the other way round. Since dogs descend from pack animals to them an inherent trait is that of establishing leadership/hierarchy. Once the hierarchy in your home is established the need to respect/obey your commands will come naturally to your dog. Basic Dog Obedience:
1. To come when called. That is responding to “Come.”
2. To heel when walking or when strangers enter your home to obey the command, “Heel.”
3. To sit down immediately on being commanded.
4. To sit-stay and down-stay.
The basic know how will grant more freedom to your dog in your social environment and he/she will not have to be leashed/tied down.
