Perhaps, by now, your eyes are attuned to cats and their behavior. Out door cats, are as intelligent and smart as indoor ones. There are cats with a long memory of a particular incident. When the cat was just a year old, a raccoon attacked. A family who lived on an estate saved the cat.
When the cat had its first litter here, she took her litter out hunting. There, they killed a racoon, though much larger than the cat. The cat and her family merely avenged the racoon’s attack. This is the power of the cat’s memory! Cats are known to portray such behavior. Like any other creatures, they too crave for the love of those around them.
If you are his master or mistress, spend a lot of time with him. Treat him like your own child—so play with him, talk to him, listen to music with him and watch TV together. You will soon find that cats remember what they watch on TV. In fact, they will have a clear preference for certain kinds of shows, though animal and cartoons shows are very popular among them.
They also like to watch other animals, apart from anything bright, colorful and moving at great speed. Others enjoy listening to music and even their owner singing. Cats usually pick up their owner’s likes and dislikes. So, if you know your cat likes to watch TV with you, he will follow his master to that part of the house where the TV is set up and watch programmes together.
Soon, they will attune their ears to sounds that typically emanate from the telly. Such clues give them a hint as to where their master is. But if yours is a lazy cat, it may continue to loll around in the room where you have placed him.
